A1 Energy Consultants provide a full range of services for the homeowner, whether you need a BER certificate or a Heat Pump grant Technical Assessment we have you covered and will not be beaten for price, we are fully registered and insured with SEAI. If you are considering upgrading your cold, draughty house but don't know were to start, whether your motivation for a home retrofit is to reduce energy use and fuel bills or improving comfort levels. We can carry out an on-site measured survey of your property and supply you with a home energy upgrade report which will guide you and your builder through all required fabric upgrades including U-Value targets, and specifications, mechanical service upgrades and renewables. There are a number of grants available from the SEAI Better Energy Homes scheme, including insulation, heat pump, heating controls, solar thermal & electrical ranging from €400 to €6,000 per measure depending on the type of property and measures installed which typically cover about 30-40% of the cost.
