Thermal bridges can exist anywhere in buildings, they happen were there is a change in either thickness or direction of the thermal envelope, i.e. at a corner, floor, window, or a roof eaves junction. Thermal bridges cannot be avoided, but they can be reduced or avoided. A1 Energy Consultants assess thermal bridges using 2D and 3D software, which has been fully validated in accordance with ISO 10211.
